FAQ
Questions about GlutenSpot.
Find quick answers about restaurant verification, listings, updates, and gluten-free dining information.
Restaurant Verification
Is it free to be listed?
Yes. GlutenSpot is free for restaurants. We only need a quick reply confirming or correcting the information we found.
Do we need to create an account?
No portal or login is required. You can verify your details, send updates, and add menu notes by replying to our email.
What if we don't serve gluten-free dishes?
Even if you don't serve explicitly gluten-free dishes it is still worth listing your details. Not all gluten-free diners are Coeliac, for some it is due to a food sensitivity or a lifestyle choice, and they may require accommodations you can provide. Either way it prevents negative experience and disappointment with guests who are unable to dine with you.
Listing Updates
What if our gluten-free options change?
Send us a follow-up email with new menu items, kitchen notes, or corrections to the same email address. We will update your listing so diners see current information.
Can we add kitchen or cross-contact notes?
Yes. Those details help gluten-free diners understand what your restaurant can accommodate before they visit.
Availability
Why haven't I received an email?
We may not have reached your city or town yet. You can manually initiate this process by clicking Verify Your Restaurant or wait for us to reach out to you.
